Predator sequence, original short

Self-directed. Generated with an AI video model from a single still I built first, then cut, graded and finished by hand. The colour, the effects and the filters are all added after. None of that comes out of the model. The raw generation ran eight seconds and spent four of them waiting. This is the part that moves. No client, no brief, made to push the technique.

02  /  Motion

Brand motion system, fictional SaaS

Every frame authored: no stock, no templates, no presets, and the interface is drawn rather than screenshotted. Built as CSS and SVG in a browser, so it ships as video and as web animation that holds a performance budget and honours a reduced-motion preference. Written to survive your developer's review, not just to export.

Recropped so she has space in the direction she's looking, then graded warm behind a neutral subject so she separates from it. Source photograph: U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, public domain.

Event identity, fictional outdoor cinema

One message at three ratios. Each format is a different composition rather than the same layout rescaled. Two colours, no photograph.

Graphics package, fictional brand channel

Shown over dark and light footage, because the package has to hold up over footage nobody has shot yet. A scrim rather than a box, inverting over light frames.

Character animation, original short

Raw generation ran nine seconds and spent the last two on an empty street. This is the six seconds that work. Made with an AI video model, then directed, cut, graded and finished by hand. Colour, effects and filters are mine, not the model's. No client, no brief, made to see how far the technique goes.

Nobody turns work down because they can't do it. They turn it down because the week is already full.

That's what I'm for. Post only, white label, under your name, and no contact with your client. Send me the piece that's blocking the week and take the rest of it back. Cuts, graphics packages, motion, and AI-generated material finished by hand so it sits next to everything else you've made.

How it works

Every job quoted individually

Every job

Quoted individually

Priced against what the piece is for rather than read off a list. Tell me what you need and you get a number back.

Nothing starts

Until you agree to it

The number is fixed in writing before anything begins, which means getting faster is my problem rather than your bill.

One round of changes

Included

You send your notes together, once, and I do them together, once. Anything that changes the brief rather than refines it gets quoted first.

Tell me what the piece is, how long it needs to be and when you need it back, and you get one fixed number in writing. Nothing starts until you have that number and have said yes to it.

01

You send a folder and a date

What it is, how long it needs to be, and when you need it back. Two sentences is plenty.

02

I tell you if I'm the right person

I'll get back to you as soon as I can. If it's outside what I do I'll say so rather than take it and work that out later.

03

Then there's a price

Fixed, in writing, before anything starts. If the first one worked we keep going.

Before you ask

Can I just add you to our freelance list?

Yes, and that's the easiest way to start. Say so and I'll send you my rate, my availability, and your NDA signed. Then I'm on file for the week that goes sideways and you haven't committed to anything.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes, send yours. I'll sign it before you send me anything.

Who owns the work?

On payment I assign you every right I hold in the deliverable, with no licence terms, usage windows or later buyout. I warrant that to the best of my knowledge it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights. Where a piece uses generative tooling I'll tell you up front, because copyright doesn't subsist in raw model output and I won't pretend otherwise.

Do you use AI?

Yes, where it's the right tool, and I tell you before I do. What you get back is directed, cut, graded and finished by hand. If your client's contract rules it out, say so and I'll work without it.

Can you work in our project files?

Premiere, After Effects, Resolve or Figma, matching your naming and folder structure rather than imposing mine.

What does delivered as code mean?

The motion is authored as CSS and SVG in a browser rather than rendered out of a compositor, so you get the video and a live web version your developer can drop in. Design tools export animation now too. The difference is what arrives: a performance budget held, a reduced-motion preference honoured, and code written to survive your developer's review.

Can you build the page it lives on?

Sometimes. This site is hand-built, no page builder, and the video controls on it are mine. If a piece needs a page or a component to sit in, ask and I'll tell you straight whether it's in my range.

Will you work under our name?

Yes, that's the default. White label, no credit, no contact with your client unless you want it.

What if the date slips?

You'll know the day I know, not the day it's due.

How do I send footage?

Whatever you already use. Frame.io, Dropbox, WeTransfer, a drive.

Send me a job, or just take my details

What it is, how long it needs to be, and when you need it. I'll tell you honestly whether I'm the right person, and if I'm not I'll say who might be. If you've nothing on right now, say so and I'll send my rate and availability for your freelance list, and that's the end of it until you need something.

Every job is quoted individually. Tell me what the piece is, how long it needs to be and when you need it back, and you get one fixed number in writing.

What you send is used to reply to you about this project and nothing else. No mailing list, no sharing, no selling. Privacy policy.
